CFC's 2003 annual celebrity hockey game against the WAAF All Stars, who were led by D.J. Gregg Hill, was played at Tsongas Arena, in Lowell, MA on February 13, 2003. Sponsored by Bob's Stores, the game was very successful with CFC grossing approximately $90,000 for the Foundation. In addition to this, CFC also donated a thousand tickets to the Lawrence Boys and Girls Club and, in conjunction with the game, CFC conducted a food drive for the Merrimack Valley Food Bank, which was also very successful. The Boston Chowda Company alone donated a thousand pounds of clam chowder.

Arriving in a chauffeur driven limousine with Boston Bruin Sergei Samsonov, was Mike Visone, namesake of the Mike's Wish Foundation, who dropped the puck for the game's ceremonial face-off. CFC's special guests, the Hanson Brothers, were a big hit, literally and figuratively, as were CFC's all-time leading defensive pair, Ray Bourque and Denis Leary. The game also featured former Boston Bruins, Lyndon Byers, Cleon Daskalakis, Gary Doak, Gordie Kluzak, Reggie Lemelin, Ken Linsman, Rick Middleton, Jay Miller, Chris Nilan, Tommy Songin, and Bob Sweeney, as well as Olympic Gold Medalists, Colleen Coyne and Mike Eruzione. Former New England Patriot, Max Lane, scored the winning goal for the WAAF All Stars in the 10-9 decision.

Please check back here in the future for information on CFC's 2004 Game.
