Small Charity Support

Many charities are relatively small and do not have the constituency or the access to celebrities to garner much, if any, support from them. To assist these charities, CFC utilizes its relationships with the celebrities it works with to provide some assistance to them. CFC maintains an inventory of autographed memorabilia that small charities can, by applying directly to CFC, have donated to them for utilization in their fundraising efforts. The autographed memorabilia donated is primarily from Boston area athletes and is currently only available to charities located in New Hampshire, Massachusetts and Rhode Island. However, CFC expects to expand this service in the future.

In addition to this, CFC is currently developing new online services targeted at generating awareness of the issues surrounding Rare "Orphan" Diseases, as well as to assist in raising funds to fund medical research in this area. Additional information regarding Rare "Orphan" Diseases is available form the National Institute of Health-Office of Rare Diseases.

Mike Visone was introduced to Boston Bruin, Sergei Samsonov, through CFC; and they have since become good friends. Mike suffers from the rare, "orphan", disease known as Huntington's disease. To try and help raise money to find a cure, his family has established the Mike's Wish Foundation.
